ICASALS invites you to attend the 2006 International Conference on Water in Arid and Semiarid Lands, held on November 15-17, 2006
at Texas Tech University in the Student Union
Building. The conference is designed to provide policymakers, educators, researchers, students, and practitioners with
information about state-of-the-art dryland research, advances in technology, and new field practices applicable to arid and semiarid
lands with an emphasis on water resource management. For a more complete list of conference themes, click

The conference will be preceded by workshops (November 13-14) and followed by weekend
field excursions to sites in West and
Central Texas (November 18-19).

Deadlines
Speakers, please submit your PowerPoint Presentation
to ICASALS@ttu.edu by this
November 10th. You will need to submit your papers at the conference
registration desk on November 15th. We accept only electronic
versions (no hardcopies).
